This course examines neurologic issues that are common among older adults. We will discuss migraines and other headaches, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease and other disorders of movement, and Peripheral Neuropathy and other disorders of nerves and muscles. We will also discuss how MRI and CAT scans work. The intent of this course is to explain these problems to the non-medical public in a way that helps them cope in their personal and family lives.
