Being a television news reporter is a lot different than many people would imagine. It is about running and gunning from the moment your feet hit the ground. Reporters set up their own stories, conduct the interviews, write and produce the segments, and then report them live multiple times a day. They are also responsible for managing social media platforms and promoting their reports. It is a dizzying journey that Amanda Lamb has been on for more than three  decades.
