Be a Class Host

An easy way to volunteer is by hosting a class in which you are already enrolled. Here’s what a class host does:

• Help the volunteer instructor get settled into the classroom
• Pass out handouts
• Assist with instructor’s AV needs
• Read weekly announcements

Training is provided before the start of each term so you are familiar with your duties as class host, and OLLI’s Program Manager will be there to support you during the first couple of weeks.

Being a class host allows you to get to know your instructor better, as well as fellow class members. Your class host volunteer time is for the duration of the course you are registered for— so why not enjoy a ringside seat and join your fellow OLLI volunteer members who also keep OLLI strong!
