How Hats Are Made -- Then and Now



In this course, students will be introduced to the history of hat-making and millinery, from the late 1600s forward, and how they differ. We will discuss the origin of the hat-making and millinery industries and the evolution of American hat-making.  Various tools, techniques, and materials used in modern millinery will be demonstrated.
